Backyard friends

Steve is putting some new fencing in the backyard and had two little toad friends find their way into one of his holes. Since Steve does not do "frogs" as he put it I had to come out and retrieve them LOL here are some pics I took, enjoy!

One for A-B honor roll, science perfect attendance, good citizenship and a young author and writers award, (Karlie wants to be a children's author when she grows up) we are really proud of them both!

Hail Storm

We have definatly had our share of weather latly tonight a storm blew in after our hottest weekend yet and it started to hail, the kids had never seen it before so they thought it was really cool to see what they described as "ice falling from th sky" LOL I took a couple of pics the kids were out picking it up and Cory kept running in and putting it in the freezer until his "hail collection was complete" Some of the hail was quarter sized, I am sure glad it did not last but a few minutes.
