My first Scrapbook page post!

Ok so I have been in a scrapbooking slump for the last several months. Yesterday I walked into my scraproom sat down and decided to just use what was on my desk, and here is what I came up with. I covered my daughters friend's face because I did not have permission to post her pic, so disregard the pink flower.

The cardstock is Colorbok, with the exception of the blue mat it was a scrap not sure whose though. The black swirls and black flowers , are actually stickers!!! and they are from Kelly Panacci, and the various flowers are Primas I believe, and two of the flowers on brown cardstock I cut out with my sizzix.

Well enjoy I hope this will be the start of my Mojo coming back!

Flowers and wierd umm.. mushrooms?

I have not been feeling so great this week but tonight I went out on the porch and decided to take some pictures, we have black eyed Susan's growing in several places in the yard, which are my favorite, also I noticed these strange looking ummm... mushrooms growing in a flower pot by my front door, its been a wet, humid week so I guess that's why they popped up. LOL
Out in the back yard are Karlie's flowers she had to plant for a science project this past spring and they are really blooming now! She has sun flowers, and morning glories and green beans vining all over the deck. (see those pics below) I hope you enjoy the pics!

Feeding the Birds

So the kids and I just loved watching the birds at my Moms birdfeeders when we were in PA a few weeks ago so we got some feed and put one out side our living room window. It took a couple of days but the birds found it. We have some young cardinals coming in to feed, we have never had cardninals in the yard before so the kids are excited. this picture was taken through the window and a screen, so its not real clear. This is our favorite little one, we call him spike becasue of his faethers, he is the only one that the feathers stick up on his head, you can see his red feathers coming in slowly that is why we think he is a male bird. any way just wanted to share our backyard birdies!

Purse Pattern

Hi all ,I have been asked to share the pattern, So here you go, Its McCalls M5443 its a Hillary Duff design. its really cute and comes with several purse patterns. in stead of making the ties, I found some pink ribbon that was an exact match and used it instead. much easier becasue the ties were a pain. Good luck and share with me when you make one would love to see it. I think I am going to make some more!

I made a purse

I had to share the cute purse that I made for my daughter Karlie, she has been wanting me to use this fabric for quite a while to make he something, so here it is! The purse is lined in pink and has a nice stiff interfacing so it holds its shape really well. I might have to try a couple of more! LOL
